I'm very excited about the 2022-2023 school year!  I've been teaching library classes for 36 years and it's my 36th year here at Watauga Elementary.  I encourage you to read any notes that I will be sending home this year;  I don't send many notes home so please read anything marked library.  These notes will explain library policies, rules, check-out, books not returned, and behavior issues to name a few.
However, I do need your help in one area-getting library books back that were not returned last year.  So if you are cleaning up or have your child or children cleaning- please go through any books that you find and see if it's stamped on the inside front and back-"Watauga Elementary School Library".  You can send the book(s) with your child or bag the book(s) and leave the bag at our front entrance marked library and that's all you need to do.
I just want to thank everyone and anyone that says a prayer for our teachers and students-I know that's how I'm still able to be a librarian at Watauga for all these years and hopefully a few more.  Thanks for all your kindness from past and present parents and past and present students-Miss Robin
