My name is Kim Menees and I am beginning my 22nd year of teaching! I am a 1993 graduate of Greenbrier High School and a 1999 graduate of Middle Tennessee State University  with a degree in education.  My career began in Springfield, teaching at Westside Elementary in August of 1999.  I taught First Grade there for three years before moving to Cheatham Park Elementary to teach First Grade for four more years.  I transferred to Watauga in 2006 when my oldest daughter was set to start Kindergarten. I have three children: Anna Kate (19) and my twins, Emily and Drew (15).  

I am happiest when I am around the little ones and teaching is all I've wanted to do since I was in elementary school myself. My goal is to make every child feel that they are important and loved.  If I can accomplish that, they will learn.  Watauga is a special place and I am proud and blessed to be a part of such a special school family.
